Topo V2, Topo2010 + CityNavigator operate together

So far, I had the V2 Topo and City Navigator (CN) on the Oregon. The CN I got my route with the mobile cache in the vicinity of the cache. The TopoV2 was displayed simultaneously with a level.

With the new Topo2010 I wanted to do the same, since the procedure was successful. So with the Mapsource gmapsupp.img generated from the tiles of Topo2010 and CN. During the subsequent test then the disappointment: The Topo is not visible at the CN. There are also problems with the routing functions of the CN and Topo. They come in some way into the enclosure. After some trial and error

I have now found for me, the ideal solution I will present here again.

The first time an 8GB memory card was purchased as the existing 4GB card does not have enough space. With Mapsource, I then made a gmapsupp.img tiles of Topo V2 and CN created. Then remove the generated file from the memory card and stored on the PC.

produce the second step, now with a Mapsource gmapsupp.img from the tiles of the Topo2010. The completed file must then be renamed - for example in Topo2010.img

When step 3 is the one on the PC zwischengespeichterte, file gmapsupp.img back to the memory card in the folder "Garmin" folder. Avoid

order conflicts with the routing, I use the profiles in Oregon. For this, the last step in profile "Geocaching" only the Topo2010 enabled. CN and TopoV2 remain disabled. In profile, "Automotive" goes the other way. CN V2 and activate and deactivate Topo2010. That's it

for routing in the car on roads I now use the profile "Automotive", for the pedestrian routing is then switched into the profile "Geocaching" and the Topo2010 used.

Works well - try `s times.
