Ap Bio Lab 8 Hardy Weinberg Problems 6

Update: Cable-shot bolt

Development goes on!

Last year I published here in the blog a instructions for cable bolt shot . Since that time we did some tree climbing caches, where the crossbow with bolts was used. All in all, this is a good thing. After we have adjusted the visor correctly with some sample shots, mostly rich 1 or 2 attempts, until the rope is in place. The cable installation time has been shortened by it very much. Have proved the different materials (weights) of the bolts by which we can control the income level.

But there have also shown weaknesses in the bolt construction, which we now have improved. The most important change is the transfer of the key ring from the end of the bolt to the front - just behind the golf ball.

The rear fixing it ever came to Seilabreissern because the ring has been accelerated with the rope under the bridge and it was targeted at the edges to damage to the pilot line. By moving the attachment to the front of this issue is resolved. The 2nd Advantage of this change is that now we can use a larger, more stable key ring that can withstand longer train when the bolt has sometimes gets caught in the branches.

has also changed the cam at the rear end of the bolt. There we had to damage the shot string to the metal, installed a IKEA pencil. This also works in principle, but the graphite inside a little soft. As a replacement we have used wooden dowels. These are available in different diameters and sizes at the hardware store in the small parts wall and they are normally used for furniture assembly.

All changes will be tested again in hard outdoor use . Should additional enhancements, there's an update here.

What Dvd Players Have Longest Battery Life?

(cache) used in Eben Emael

Helmut (Schroeder's team) and I are always to the fascination of historic locations. And so matured for some time the idea of our times to see the barrier Fort Eben Emael in Belgium, which was taken in May 1940 with an, until then unknown, airborne operation within hours. The traces of the past can be seen still good.

fit the conditions at Corpus Christi: Great weather forecast and all 3 teams had the time! So Geraffel tent and packed and then 200 km from the west. Helmut had picked out some nice caches and the highlight the "Cave cache pot" , we wanted to address but only after a night at a nearby campground. The path for this cache was about 15 km and 5 hrs declared.

On arrival, we have looked for some Mysteries and Tradies us and extensively considered the fort. Then, the campground based on the Dutch side. The next morning, after field kitchen tent and were away again, we went go, not at all what was so easily without topographic map. Although we had the OSM of it, but that is in this area remains limited. A highlight of the tour are in any case the numerous marl caves that housed the one or other intermediate days. This showed that the entrainment of the spoiler pictures is absolutely necessary - we have there already looking a little longer need.
> Just in time for lunch we arrived at the restaurant in Fort Mill at the entrance (open from 12:00 clock), where we were able to compensate for the heat-related dehydration with Belgian beer. Next we went along the canal, where we are in need of a Stage Fakekoords. (There are always striking figures, the hand-written are wrong!) Fortunately, these were on the track and were only too short. A call to the German-speaking owner brought us back into the game. Now just started the interesting part of the T4-round. In about 60 m height is always right on the edge of breakdown of the canal. The difficult points, and the descent are provided with thick ropes, which can be used as a climbing aid. But it is only a help, not back! After

had a total of 16 intermediate stations, we could then determine all values and calculate the final, we were then able to find a place also very impressive.

A few more details about the cache: The listing is written in Dutch. We display Google's translation. This is not perfect, but you can see what is meant. The owner speaks good German and has been found to be in demand like Joker phone available. We ran with OSM card. This is currently something patchy, but better than nothing. But I will still inputting some track record there. The track is just over 15 km long. It was with us but by-catch caches and a detour in effect, 17.4 km. The only somewhat tricky, the site is down at the clay cliffs where it goes down a steep 20 meters. There are thick ropes attached from which one can hold on to. It is not guaranteed.

Conclusion: Together with Klaus and Helmut was there again a very nice cache tour outside the domestic realm. The tour we can recommend - so make sure! here you get the tour video - Anyone have something to "appetizing" needs.
